The Game of Earth is a way of life of the GALVAMET company that will enable its survival and human dignity in the coming decades. It is the statement and the unchanging core of our company.
Therefore time will decide, whether the way, in which this industrial company operates, should be maintained. And our employees and customers are those, who among others, will give us a mark for our company’s conduct.
The content of the Game of Earth has its subtitle – Game of GALVAMET World. There we can see that even a small business can be considered a tribe of several dozen excellent people who, through their corporate and professional lives, fulfill the mission of survival and a dignified company.
The Game of Earth has been a part of the company's life since 2010.

The focus on all areas of life, from local and social to global behavior of nations and states, is based on years of studies of corporate life. We, citizens of the Czech Republic and settlers in the Wallachia region, aware of the specifics of the landscape, local patriotism, customs and traditions, together strive for balance between private and public welfare. The game of GALVAMET World is one of many tools to fix the idea of liberal democracy in the complicated demographic development of the world and subsequently survive.
During the implementation of the core business, the company focuses not only on the core business line, which is the metal heat treatment, but we can say that with the same emphasis the company focuses on the cooperation and acceptance of its mission within the existence of mankind, as an intermediary between the customer – the machine and themselves.

It is not an easy job to work in a hardening plant. But it is a dignified and honest job. The energy of machines, human brains, and arms, along with energies supplied in measurement units, contribute to the development of the human race in the world. They help its existence. The processed metal is thus without exaggeration eternal.
In recent years, trends have expanded that raise so-called new passions. They are not necessary. Because there is nothing new about them. Climate change, emission-free technology, GREEN DEAL, World Economic Forum meeting in DAVOS, Lisbon Treaty, Kyoto Protocol, the Paris Agreement, whaling, butterfly protection, wetlands, decent greetings and honest work for those who employ me… Perhaps just those names. Few people prefer heaps of tailings to flower meadow with butterflies.
What's new about it? Maybe just the interest expressed in a loud voice to be heard. We know all this here in Wallachia, we have been practically dealing with it for decades, we are happy about it and the we have achieved results. Look at our photo from the time when we bought the building from the former Zbrojovka Vsetín.
Under the word disruptive, people today imagine a return. From the return to improvement or to simplification. And so we cook jam at home, plant herb gardens, wear clothes that we would have thrown away before, or ride a bike to work. We then use the words that we are IN, cool or ECO. The Wallachians don't need this. Because they are normal.

And while we have to admit that we are also harming and compensating for our negative effects on climate change and the environment, we certainly do not want anyone to suffer. In the list of remedies for improvement or non-deterioration, we are the first hardening plant in the Czech Republic to have a professionally prepared audit of our company's CO2 footprint.
Every year, we take a number of small and a few major measures against the growth of our carbon footprint, organizationally, technically and investment-wise. They include:

– Replacement of the gas heating system for water-to-water heat pumps, which use hot water from our technologies for DHW heating, heating, showering.

– Gravity feeding of water from forests for industrial water softening.

– Rainwater collection in a large-volume tanks for subsequent use.

– Compressor systems with frequency converters to save electricity.

– Photovoltaic power plant built in 2013 and newly expanded in 2021 to 246 kWp with a saving of 4,000 tons of CO2 during its lifetime.

– Investment in the SOLO line and savings of 274 MWh of electricity per year and savings of 291 tons of CO2 per year.

– Investment in TAV vacuum technologies and savings of 459 MWh of electricity and savings of 464 tons of CO2 per year.

– We consider waste a raw material. Used oil, paper, wood, metal and plastics are reused. All these are of business interest.

– The replacement of lighting with energy-saving one has been implemented gradually with the development of individual workplaces every year.

– New nitrogen production plant, which enabled a reduced volume of nitrogen purchase and transport with trucks.

Maybe someone would be more interested in the fact how the company and its people are doing in the areas of CSR, corporate social responsibility, or standard ECO. Perhaps one of the presentations of our behavior might help CSR in 2015. In that year, we were awarded the TOP responsible company by the Business for Society platform. We became the winners in the Small and medium-sized enterprise category.

Companies show off their rating as socially responsible. So, we also want to share our accomplishments. We have twice been awarded the TOP responsible company by the Business for Society platform. We won twice. We were awarded by the VIA BONA platform, we received an award from the US Ambassador to the Czech Republic, the Mayor of Vsetín, and we were declared a responsible company of the Zlín Region.

An educational trail has been installed in the neighbourhood of our company, for more than ten years. For those interested, tourists, schools, but also companies on excursions or educational trips, we can provide a guided tour. It tells our story. And it tells the truth, the fact are included in it.
We do not want to worry unnecessarily about the hysteria and panic of the media and new crowd mediators. We follow our own path. Whoever wants and can, has the opportunity to learn something from us. And finally, which of the companies really think and act like this?
Finally, we want to confirm that we will stick to our way of life. Think first, then act. We are not politicians, so we don't have to shout into the microphones for someone to vote for us. If we can think in time, then we can see that someone or something has improved the approach to the environment. And we also see that the old farmstead is a jewel in the landscape and not an ugly building like a new logistics park. Such a building is also our hardening plant on Jasenický brook, in a bird sanctuary, in the forest, in Wallachia.
