This year, Earth Day fell on April 22 and, like every year, we cleaned up our own and other people's waste that was on our property. We collected three bags of waste from the banks of the stream and from it, but no trout. It was in the past years, from our bridge we observed 30 cm trout 10 to 15 years ago...
And because we have a beautiful garden full of frosted trees, a newt, a frog and a snake, a lot of primroses and, most of all, good people, we toasted some bacon and snacked on punch.
